M90 Junction 2 Duloch Overbridge: Overnight Closures
14 September 2015
Operating company Amey today announced plans to undertake essential repairs to the Duloch overbridge on the M90 at Junction 2. The bridge, which carries the B916 Aberdour Road over the M90, is to be improved with new expansion joints and surfacing repairs at a cost of £20,000.
The work will be carried out between 21:00 and 06:00 on four consecutive nights from 21 to 25 September. To ensure the safety of workers, the bridge will be closed at these times, with traffic diverted via the B981, C67 Skylark Road (Masterton Road) and Lapwing Drive.
Mark Arndt, Amey’s Operating Company Representative for the Forth Bridges Unit, said: “These works are essential in order to maintain road user safety and comfort, and to maximise the service life of the structure.
“We’ve planned these works overnight in order to minimise disruption, however some minor delays are possible as a result of the diversions and road users are asked to plan journeys accordingly.”
