This publication scheme summarises the information routinely published by the Authority. It is not a complete list of every publication and leaflet produced since such a list is extensive and subject to frequent change.

The initial scheme is a description of the classes or types of information routinely published information together with the core or key publications in each class. The classes are derived from the core service or business process areas of the Authority. They also take account of the most frequently requested information from the Authority’s website.

The scheme will be updated on an ongoing and regular basis and will be maintained via the Authority’s website.  Paper copies of the scheme will be available on request subject to the prevailing reproduction costs.

CLASSIFICATION FORMAT

CLASS 1 - AUTHORITY AGENDAS, REPORTS & MINUTES

This contains details of how the Authority works, the decisions that are made and the basis upon which they are made. It also contains full details of Authority agendas, reports and minutes for both the current and previous years. Some exemptions will apply e.g. where the information comprises an Authority report which has been or is to be considered in private, because it contains “exempt information” as defined in Part 1 of Schedule 7A to the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973.
