The Forth Road Bridge is operated and maintained by the Forth Estuary Transport Authority (FETA). The authority's purpose is to maintain the Forth Road Bridge in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst minimising disruption to traffic.
Approximately 70 staff are employed in bridge maintenance, traffic operations and administration.
